MMOs come in many different shapes and styles, and Wuji Online is no different. Wuji Online is a martial arts style MMO that is sure to hook fans of similar style MMOs like Yulgang 2, Age of Wulin, and Blade & Soul. Wuji Online is developed by Eya Soft, the same developers of Luna Online, and is read to fight its way to the top in the martial arts MMO genre! Wuji Online has been in development for over 5 years and seems to be ready to roll. This MMO is based off of a novel with the same name and offers its players with a truly genuine and epic martial arts world. Unfortunately, Wuji Online is still in the developmental stages and isn’t set to launch its closed Beta until the end of the year (in Asian countries), but this MMO shows some real promise! Beautiful isn’t it? Wuji Online has a breathtaking environment that players can experience while embarking on quests. As you can see from the pictures above, Wuji Online uses Asian culture as inspiration in their stunning concept art. While this may be concept art, the character concept art shows that the Eya Soft team is planning on creating some pretty bad-ass ninja warriors (no pun intended). With this being said, it’s no wonder Wuji Online is catching the eyes of Western players alike. But enough about the artwork, let’s get into the actual game.
Wuji Online uses a character development system that has no real classes. Instead, players can learn the martial arts that they choose and will be able upgrade they character’s stats as they level up. This feature is exciting because it allows players to customize their warrior however they so choose. The picture below also show Wuji’s equipment enhancement system where players can use up to 9 different slots and infuse the slots with gemstones to upgrade their weapons.
While Wuji Online may not allow players to choose from classes, this does not take away from how much players will be able to customize their own warriors. If anything, Wuji Online allows players to take more control over their character by choosing his/her own fighting styles and enhancing their weapons how they see fit. Wuji Online shows a lot of promise, and it’s not hard to see why players are eagerly awaiting the release of this martial Arts MMO.
