Will The Elder Scrolls Online Go To F2P Route?

Things are starting to change for The Elder Scrolls Online and it’s becoming apparent that Zenimax may be moving to a F2P route. There’s been a lack of information in regards to the console version. They’ve removed the ability to purchase a 6 month subscription. We’ve seen this before with Warhammer Online when they removed the 6 month option in June of 2013 and then converted to free-to-play in November of 2013. Other pay-to-play MMO’s have also made subscription changes and rate changes prior to their F2P conversions as well.

It’s very much possible by the time The Elder Scrolls Online releases, we could see it as a F2P title on console and PC. Console users have been against wanting to pay for subscription based titles since they already have to pay for their online experience with Xbox Live or Playstation Network. Do you see Zenimax switching to a F2P model? Let us know.
