We’ve been eagerly following any news that has to do with World of Planes, and recently this awesome looking plane MMO has changed its name to War Thunder: World of Planes. If you haven’t seen our last article on this awesome MMO, you can check out our article about the War Thunder: World of Planes German Tech Tree. Along with the name change, War Thunder has been closing in on their Closed Beta launch. The exact date has still yet to be determined, however, it should launch sometime this Spring.
In our previous article, we mentioned many of the features that are expected to be included in this cutting edge genre. World of Planes has expanded its game play and is now expected to include much more than what was previously planned. War Thunder: World of Planes is no longer purely an Ariel combat style MMO and is now going to include a feature that allows players to see who the current top fighter pilots are. Likewise, the World of Planes crew plans on updating the game frequently with fresh content as the game evolves.
World of Planes has also relaunched their official website and is taking Beta sign ups at http://www.worldofplanesgame.com. The site will also allow players to stay tuned to what’s in store as it gets closer to launching its Closed Beta. The World of Planes team is planning on redefining its own genre and bringing an exciting new MMO style to MMO lovers everywhere. It’s easy to see how much effort Gaijin Entertainment has put into War Thunder: World of Planes, and why players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of this Ariel based MMO.
