Psyonix and Square Enix today announced that the free-to-play competitive multiplayer game set in the Legacy of Kain universe, Nosgoth, is now officially in Open Beta. The Open Beta status means all players are now able to explore the Human versus Vampire world of Nosgoth, without needing to sign up as with previous beta windows.
Nosgoth has already made a positive impression on the competitive world thanks to its asymmetric gameplay with a heavy focus on competitive balance and execution.
To celebrate the launch of the Open Beta for Nosgoth the developers have announce an exciting opportunity in the form of a double XP event for the entirety of the first week, supported by a lineup of new content scheduled to arrive soon.
Scheduled for release in coming weeks is a new Vampire class, The Summoner, a currently unannounced Human class, a brand new city map, a new game mode and several new character skins.
