New Neverwinter Online Mod Announced

In what’s shaping up to be a good month of news for Dungeons and Dragons fans, Neverwinter Online just announced a new game mod, to be released on none other than St. Patrick’s day (March 17th). Called Elemental Evil, this mod brings two characters that fans of the series will be sure to enjoy, Minsc and Boo.

The ranger and his hamster sidekick, who have been absent from D&D gaming since Baldur’s Gate, make a thrilling comeback in Elemental Evil, in which a nefarious plot threatens the entire Sword Coast. “Restored to flesh and blood and once more roaming the Realms, Minsc and Boo are bold and humorous companions and steadfast allies. Now players will have the chance to adventure alongside the intrepid pair and uncover the secrets behind the rise of Elemental Evil.” Simon Lucas, a Neverwinter designer, was extremely excited to be able to introduce the pair of misfits to the experience.

In addition to Minsc and Boo, there are several other updates to be included with Elemental Evil. Players will now be capped at level 70 instead of 60, the Oathbound Paladin class will offer a tank or healing spec, and of course there will be plenty of new adventures and story content for fans.
