On February 13th, indie game developer n-Space and Digital Extremes announced one of the biggest crossovers to happen to online gaming. Fans of the dice rolling, role playing party game Dungeons and Dragons can now rejoice, as the D&D format is finally moving into the digital age.
Sword Coast, an interactive MMO, allows players to join together for an immersive digital D&D experience. What makes Sword Coast so special is the fact that Dungeon Masters (DMs) can influence and affect gameplay in real time. n-Space is working with D&D juggernaut Wizards of the Coast to ensure that Sword Coast is the premiere MMO game for Dungeons and Dragons. Set in the Forgotten Realms universe, Sword Coast promises interactive storytelling, intuitive game mechanics for both players and DMs, and a truly remarkable and faithful D&D experience.
Dan Trudge, President of n-Space, was very enthusiastic about the game’s development, “We are huge D&D fans and are thrilled to create a modernized storytelling experience in the iconic Forgotten Realms Universe”.
While the release date has yet to be officially announced, fans can pre-order their copy, along with a bevy of unique collector’s items to be unleashed with the game. To order your copy and to find out more about this groundbreaking game, go to www.swordcoast.com
