Popular browser MMORPG game developer R2Games today announced the open beta launch of the highly anticipated free-to-play CCG, Summoner’s Legion. The open alpha event ran for several weeks, giving the developers ample time to collect and implement feedback gathered from the community. The open alpha event came to a close this morning January 21st at 7:30AM.
Following the end of open alpha R2Games wiped all character progress and accounts, allowing for a more balanced open beta event.
A brand new server, Forgotten Altar, launched today with the new open beta client immediately following the closure of the open alpha servers. Returning players can expect refined features, a more intuitive user interface and smoother gameplay and servers.
