NCSoft and Carbine Studios today released a new blog post highlighting a massive list of forthcoming changes aimed at reinventing the PvP scene for the online action MMORPG, WildStar. Among the list of changes are details on new daily, weekly and random PvP events that hopes to attract more players to the competitive scene whilst also offering PvP with more drive, objective and purpose. PvP contracts, new items, prestige additions and same-faction battlegrounds are also on the cards for the upcoming PvP overhaul.
While these additions will not directly affect the balance or playstyle within PvP, we feel they should provide players with more incentives to participate in PvP on a regular basis. We sincerely appreciate all the feedback our players have already given us on PvP and we’re eager to hear more. So, let’s take a look at the year ahead.
