Mortal Kombat X

Over twenty years ago, the action packed, bloody extravaganza that was Mortal Kombat was released for consoles. With it’s realistic (for the time) graphics and graphic depictions of violence, Mortal Kombat quickly became an institution, with over a dozen games across a variety of platforms.

Now, fans of this bloody franchise can access Scorpion, Sub Zero and all their favorites on their mobile devices. In April 2015, players will be able to “finish” their opponents on their smart phones and/or tablets with the latest version of the game, titled Mortal Kombat X.

Coinciding with the release of the game on consoles, Mortal Kombat X will be a Free to Play option that can be unlocked with the purchase of a console or PC version of the game. Despite the smaller screens, Netherealm Studios promises that fans will still have all the gore and brutality of the game, just in a more compact space. The mobile version will also be a card trading version of the fighting game, allowing players to collect and upgrade their favorite characters.

Mortal Kombat X releases on April 14, 2015. To find out more, visit www.mortalkombat.com
