During day 2, Group B battles it out. Day 1 left with some pretty even scores– all group B teams were 1-1 with the exception of Gambit and Mineski (2-0 and 0-2 respectively). Spectators anxiously waited to see if their teams would do better after the first day jitters had passed.

Vulcan had a very unfortunate game with Gambit. Vulcan’s misplaced aggression and indecisiveness gave them a bad start that they just couldn’t get back from. During early game, Xmithie and Sycho Sid were forced to stay close to their tower after they endured a massive amount of damage from Viodle and Genja. A few minutes later, Vulcan ganked Genja, leading some spectators to think that Vulcan could turn the game around, but their judgment failed them again at a crucial moment. Gambit was able to end the game after 27 minutes.

Ozone’s game with Fnatic was a fiasco much like Vulcan’s with Gambit. Ozone’s Dade misplayed Gragas leaving Looper’s Shen a vulnerable target for Fnatic. By 20 minutes, Fnatic was 8k gold ahead, leaving Ozone tragically behind in items. They couldn’t stand in team fights; in fact, when Ozone caught Yellowstar and xPeke overextended, they failed to kill the two players and were melted 4-0. Ozone respawned and walked into a brutal Ace, which lead to Ozone’s immediate surrender. Fnatic were dominant in Day 2, demolishing Gambit as well in a dynamic match.

Team Wins Losses
Fnatic 3 1
Gambit BenQ 3 1
Vulcun Techbargains 2 2
Samsung Ozone 2 2
Mineski 0 4
