Rockstar Games have been periodically revealing new details surrounding the highly anticipated Heists update for the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto Online, this week highlighting the importance of the lead role. Previously the developers announced that the Heists update will be released in Grand Theft Auto Online sometime during early 2015 but a few recent additions are already in-game. The Christmas themed Los Santos update included a few new cars but more importantly, two new weapons. The newly added Proximity Mines and Seeking Rocket Launcher are sure to play a pivotal role in the Heists missions, as both were seen being used during the official Heists trailer.
The latest batch of news comes from YouTube channel The Know, providing fans with additional insight to the Heists update including the responsibilities and role of the lead player, the rewards for each individual member and the team, and the potential problems players may face.
