Hi-Rez Studios today released additional content following the God reveal from the SMITE World Championships, releasing the full set of patch notes arriving with the latest addition to SMITE’s Chinese pantheon, Hou Yi.
Hou Yi was first announced during the World Championships finals held in Atlanta this past weekend, showcasing the exciting abilities and strengths of this legendary archer to thousands of immersed viewers. Hou Yi demonstrates his mastery of the bow with a variety of physical based attacks including ricocheting ammunition, a mark to increase damage on targeted foes and an ultimate ability that sees 9 falling suns decimate his enemies.
In traditional Hi-Rez fashion, the team have released the Hou Yi spotlight video showcasing the God’s abilities and potential in combat.
The team also released the full batch of patch notes for this weeks update. Accompanying Hou Yi’s release are new skins for Hel, Cupid and Nox with additional voice packs also. Another long list of emotes, ability tweaks and bug fixes finalize the patch, expected to arrive later this week.
