Dark Horse Comics and Blizzard today announced a new partnership to bring an exciting addition to the World of Warcraft universe to light with the release of a new series of books titled Chronicles. The series of books is designed to fill in various gaps in Azeroth lore with the first volume due to be released in November 2015. Subsequent titles will follow but information on those has yet to be revealed.
World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1 will see readers embark on a journey through a time of myth and legend, many years before the Horde and Alliance conflict came to be. The first volume reveals secrets of the birth of the cosmos, rise and fall of ancient empires, and the forces that came to shape the world of Azeroth as it is today.
“We often get questions from players who want to know more about the origins of the Warcraft universe, and the rise and fall of their favorite characters” said Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment. “This new series digs deeply into all of that—we can’t wait for players to read it.”
