Cliffhanger Productions today announced the release of a huge patch for Shadowrun Online, making various changes and improvements to the crowd-funded MMORPG game.
The more exciting elements of the update include an increase in party size, a new World Map, several new quest hubs and the addition of the highly anticipated friend-based cooperative feature.
Depending on the mission players will now be able to select up to 3 henchmen to take into battle. The cooperative option allows players to play alongside friends as opposed to the random nature of the previous version. The skills system has also undergone some drastic changes including the reworking of all individual skills and brand new skill trees.
