Microsoft announced this morning that they will be bringing a third season of Killer Instinct to Xbox One this coming year during the Xbox Gamescom press conference. Season three of Killer Instinct will include a medley of new guest characters from other video game franchises that will come as a familiar welcome to veteran gamers and coming up to bat first is Rash from Battletoads.
Not only will Rash become a permanent character for the upcoming third season of Killer instinct but he will also be available for a preview beginning today that will run until September 8th at 12am PST. However, there’s a catch. Rash will not be available to everyone. According to Microsoft, players will have either had to purchase some piece of Killer Instinct content in the past or own the recently launched Rare Replay collection.
